How does Trello compare to Google Keep for personal task management?

Trello is an amazing personal task manager.

The idea behind a card itself is also incredibly great. It connects in with Slack and Google Apps seamlessly that means I can have a conversation in Slack with my design team and have all of it sync back to a Trello card. Files are also great, if I am working on a spreadsheet task I can attach the Google Sheet to the card for quick reference.

The collaboration features are also what take Trello to the next level. If you are working with any external parties you will find this to be invaluable. The way I handle this right now is I copy a card from my private board to a shared board and then assign the card to a member of my team.

As alluded to in others answers Trello has more functionality but you do not need to use it. If you wanted to use it as a basic task manager you could without ever opening up a card or adding details.

Google Keep does not have any of this. Its great for keeping notes, but now I am finding myself more and more using Slack or Trello for notes. The search functionality is not as good as Google Keep but Trello does the job.
